Strong weekend for the Swiss biathlon team
The duo Amy Baserga and Niklas Hartweg proved their strength again in the single mixed relay. In Nove Mesto in the Czech Republic, they took silver, finishing second behind Norway. The team from Latvia came in third.
After third place at the World Cup in Pokljuka and second place at the European Biathlon Championships in Lenzerheide, this is already the third medal for Baserga/Hartweg in this discipline.
Meanwhile, Switzerland can boast 2nd place in the women's relay, mixed relay and single mixed relay in the World Cup.

9th place for the Swiss mixed relay team
A few hours earlier, in the mixed relay, the Swiss men were unable to take advantage of the good starting position that Elisa Gasparin and Lena Häcki-Gross had created for them, just 12 seconds behind the leaders. Sebastian Stalder with one and Serafin Wiestner with two penalties were pushed through to 9th place. The gap to the winner France was 3:03 minutes.
